Miyano USA - Change of Business Structure

Dear Sirs,
Due to business restructuring, please accept this letter as our intent to inform you of changes in business at Miyano Machinery USA Inc. (herein after called MMU). Starting May 1st, 2010, MMU will become the machine importer and general administrator. Then Marubeni Citizen-Cincom Inc. (herein after called MCC), which is an alliance company of Citizen Group, shall solely distribute and service the Miyano Product through the distributors in USA, Canada and Mexico.
We appreciate all of your business with us over the years and hope to continue to serve you through MCC and their distributors.
Miyano Machinery Inc. Japan, the manufacturer of Miyano Product, parent company of MMU and Citizen Group Company, is excited about these positive changes. MCC seeks to continue to serve you.

New BNA Series lathes designed to eliminate idle time
This machine requires about 3/4 of installation space compared to our conventional machines and cutting efficiency has greatly improved. It has an 8-tool station turret, but the tools can be mounted up to 16 positions by Half-Position Index Mechanism. Also, mounted Sub-spindle and Control Technology enable simultaneous compound machining.
Turrets Which Can Turn in a Small Radius, and Various Tools
You won't feel a lack of tools during a complex processes thanks the Live Tools. Tools can be mounted to each position, increasing the versatility of the 8-tool station turret.
Drastic Reduction of Non-Cutting Time
Miyano's own control system reduces non-cutting time by about 27% (our conventional ratio), and reduces about 13% of the total tact time.

BNX-42SY: Born from Miyano and Citizen
We are pleased to introduce a machine that incorporates the knowledge and experience from both Miyano and Citizen: the BNX-42SY.
Integrating the CNC with a Citizen control on the highly rigid and precise machine with two spindles and one turret has made it possible to achieve productivity equivalent to a two spindle, two turret machine. Mounting 12 independently revolving tools on the turret allows for complete machining of complicated front and back machining using a Y-axis slide.

Miyano's GN-3200 high-precision turning center was feature in the Production Machining Magazine article "Hard Turning as a Grinding Alternative".
